NEWS 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Toscana Patina, an innovative technique, the result of years of experimentation and perfected in 2024, offers a revolutionary approach to furniture aging. Unlike in the past, this technique will allow you to work on already painted furniture, thanks to a combination of new products. The old recipes have been revisited and harmonised, making the process faster and more accessible. This represents a real revolution in restoration: during the first phase, more technical, it will be easier to obtain the striking \"craquel\u00e9\" effect, without sacrificing the quality of the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most fascinating aspects of the Tuscany Patina is that, after having acquired the basic technique, you can fully express your creativity. In the second phase of the course, dedicated to the creation of color through glues and pigments, you will have the opportunity to customize each project according to your taste. This technique, which combines ancient art with modern innovations, will offer you a unique and rewarding creative experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the course, you will learn the fundamentals of the technique step by step.
<\/mark>The working method will vary depending on the participant's background, so as to adapt to the actual needs of each participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Italian participants, the course will take place directly on the piece of furniture that each person brings from home. You will be guided individually through all stages of the technique on your own piece of furniture, so that you can take it home completely transformed at the end of the course.<\/mark>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For foreign participants, for logistical reasons related to travel and furniture transport, individual work will be carried out on authentic furniture elements, in particular cabinet doors (which we will provide in our workshop).
In addition to this individual part, foreign participants will also create a collective piece of furniture \u2014 provided by us \u2014 so that they can try out the technique on a complete piece.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This way, everyone will be able to learn the technique effectively:
\u2013 Italians working on a personal mobile device,
\u2013 foreigners on authentic door panels and on a complete piece of furniture made as a group.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What you will take home with you:
\u2013 Italians: personal furniture brought from home and transformed during the course.
\u2013 Foreigners: the door panel on which they will have worked individually.
The piece of furniture created by the foreign participants will remain in the studio.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tuscany Patina is also distinguished by its practicality. The furniture or products you will work on in the future should not be returned to raw wood, but a good sanding will suffice. In addition, they will not need to be made of solid wood, making this technique suitable for a large variety of pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the Tuscany Patina also has a sustainable soul. Through the restoration, furniture of all kinds, both of value and more modest, can be renewed and enhanced, giving new life to the original shapes and structure. In an age dominated by consumerism and excessive waste production, learning to restore value to what we own is, in our view, a gesture of great responsibility and a dignified choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
